JOYLYN M. MATEO
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
When I assisted my first clients, immediately I knew this industry would become my passion.
As a native to the island of Guam and over 10 years of experience in this industry, I’ve gained the trust of my clients and value our lasting relationships built from Real Estate. As Principal Broker and owner of Absolute Realty Inc., I hold myself to a high standard when it comes to providing excellent customer service. I attribute my success in real estate to my supportive husband and my children who continue to keep me grounded and humble. My returning clients and their referrals reaffirm my commitment as a service provider.
My passion for real estate has led me to be involved in the different committees of The Guam Association of Realtors. Some of the committees include the Grievance Committee, Member Services Committee, and The Education Committee. In addition, I’ve been involved and assisted with the overall industry decisions by sitting as a Board member of our Association.
My education stems from my attendance at San Jose State University in California for several years and ends at the University of Guam where I attained a Bachelors Degree in Business with an Emphasis in Marketing. Education does not stop there. As a Broker, I’m committed to learning all that is necessary to be the best resource for you.
I recently got a Facebook memory and it was the post when I got the results that I passed my Real Estate exam. I remember feeling like it was time to get to work and the very first step was to learn more and begin establishing my network. It’s almost ten years later and I am still learning and establishing a bigger network. The only difference is I’m more confident and capable in my work. Time has passed and the industry has seen and made some changes. One thing I’m sure of is that I plan to stick with it and I’ll become the best version of myself as a Realtor that I can be. I’ll do that through continuous growth and development as well as making those meaningful connections with each and every one of the clients that I help. That’s the most rewarding part of this career. I get to meet and help amazing people like you.
